Sorry for being so absent. Things have been busy and I have been traveling a lot so I haven't had the sit-down time that I would like for staying in touch. I have been doing a lot of form studies to try and improve my perspective and mass awareness. All those little object drawing are a good excuse to work on light logic and a good warm up to drawing. Otherwise, I have been fighting the urge to draw monsters and trying to do more from sight portraits and studies from masters paintings to understand anatomy. Monsters are still showing up in my pad though. I am not sure about LA yet and I guess I will have to make that decision somewhere down the line. I hope the city is treating you well, man. ReplyDeleteSorry I've been out of touch for such a long time! I can see you've been super productive! I love the brush pen sketches and studies you have done! I need to get myself using them brush pens! I will be posting some of the Intro to Character stuff I've done this term.
